On Tuesday 24th September 2024, three team from GTR took part in a karting competition staged between a number of engineering companies across Sussex. The event was an exciting experience filled with competitive spirit, team bonding and a lot of fun. GTR’s three teams took first, second and fifth places.
Congratulations to the following GTR teams –
Team Dan (Captained by Dan Bushell) for securing 1st place! The winning team included Dan Bushell, Jack Elford, Mat Pewsey, Alan Matwiejczuk, Ross Fowler, and Leigh Offord. Their exceptional team work and speed on the track led them to a well-deserved victory.
Team Dec (Captained by Dec Russell) took 2nd place in a closely fought race. The team members, Dec Russell, Josh Draper, Dave Kerley, Jack Walters, Simon Burtenshaw, and James Paupiah showed great determination and skill throughout the competition.
Team Jeff (Captained by Jeff North), secured 5th place in the competition. Jeff North, Neo Jajua, James Bennett, Tom Marsh, Henry Hamer, and Ben Robins all raced with energy and enthusiasm, making their mark on the day.
The day was not just about competition but also about creating strong team bonds. A huge thank you to everyone that attended the event and well done to all participants involved – brilliant turnout!
