CNC 5 Axis Machinist

Due to the expansion of our Machine shop, we are looking for 3 full-time members to join the team covering the day shift, night shift and weekend shift.

Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, the CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting and operating multi-axis machine tools in a busy machine shop.

Our Machine shop roles are in-person positions and based in Bognor Regis.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a focus on 5-axis machining.
• Proficiency in CAM programming, preferred but not essential.
• Setting up, and operating CNC machines.
• Solid understanding of machining processes and materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and be flexible to accommodate production demands.

Dayshift hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, Nightshift hours are Monday to Thursday and can be flexible (40 hours), Weekend shift is Friday to Monday, 40 hours.
